Join us for our last meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7pm in the school library. We will be voting in the new board for the 2017-2018 year.

Also, we are pleased to welcome the UD Director of Technology, Phil Vinogradov, for his presentation: Developing a Family Media Plan.
Technology plays a transformative role in work and education, providing access to resources and tools for collaboration and creation. At the same time technology has become more integral to our social networks and recreation. In our world of multiple demands and finite time, it can become a challenge to balance sleep, family time, commitments, exercise, academic "minds-on" use of digital tools, and recreational use of digital media. The American Academy of Pediatrics and Common Sense Media have wonderful tools for reflecting on digital media use and developing balanced family media plans. Please join us with your students for a workshop exploring and using these tools.
8th-Grade Banner Signing Volunteers
We need a few volunteers to help with the banner signing for the 8th-graders. All the details are on the SignUpGenius - week of May 30th, during advisory. Banner is ordered, we have someone to do the video project - just need a few brave parents/guardians to keep things organized!
Last Box Tops Collection For The School Year!
Parents and Guardians, it's time to raid your pantries, offices, and refrigerators and clip Box Tops! Then send them into Sandy Run by Friday, June 2. Your students can bring Box Tops in ANY day during the year. Every homeroom has a Box Tops Collection Bag and both the Main Office and the Annex Office will take your students' Box Tops any time. For the Homeroom Collection Contests, please write your student's name and homeroom on their envelope or Ziploc baggie of Box Tops. Thank you to all the families, teachers and staff who have been collecting and sending them in. If you have any questions about Box Tops or would like to volunteer to help count Box Tops next school year, please email email@example.com or Kathy O'Connell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
